Spotlight on AVO Centre

AVO Language & Examination centre was inspected by EAQUALS in March 2022 and met the high standards required for EAQUALS accreditation. The teaching, the course programmes, as well as the course organisation, the learning resources, testing and evaluation were all judged to be of high quality. It was found that the institution takes great care to protect the welfare of its clients and staff, and all publicity materials produced by the institution are accurate and truthful.

Founded in 1990, AVO is a well-established dynamic and friendly school with 33-years experience in English language teaching.

Our proven track record of success includes:

• Founder member of OPTIMA - in 2001 AVO became a founder member of OPTIMA, the Bulgarian Association for Quality Language Services, whose aim is to guarantee and improve standards in Bulgarian institutions for foreign language teaching for the benefit of learners and staff alike.

• Cambridge English Teaching qualifications centre - the only educational centre in Bulgaria authorised by Cambridge Assesment English since 2002 to run CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) courses.

• Member school of EAQUALS - in 2007 the centre fulfilled all the criteria for quality of EAQUALS (Evaluation & Accreditation of Language Services) and became the only fully accredited member school in Bulgaria.

• Cambridge English examination centre – 2009 is the year when we became an open Authorised centre to run the Cambridge English exams: B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE), Busines English certificates (BEC), A2 Key for Schools (KETs), B1 Preliminary for Schools (PETs), Young Learners (YLE).
